If you’re near BOISE, IDAHO, come see me this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Rediscovered Bookshop.
If you’re not near Boise, you can still see me virtually this week at WriteOnCon!
Yes, the annual FREE virtual writer’s conference is happening again this week and it promises to be just as awesome and amazing as ever. And yes, I got to be one of this year’s contributing authors, which I’m pretty psyched about.
WHAT: WriteOnCon is a free online conference connecting writers, agents, and editors. There are blog posts and vlogs full of writing tips, encouragement and inspiration are in abundance, and aspiring writers can showcase their WIPs and receive critique and possibly even receive a manuscript request from an agent!
WHO: All writers welcome!
WHEN: Forums open today to post your query or sample work. The sessions and live events will happen August 14 and 15, and archives will live indefinitely on the WriteOncon web site.
See a complete schedule of events at http://writeoncon.com/2012/08/writeoncon-2012-full-schedule/.
WHERE: http://writeoncon.com
WHY: It’s fun, it’s free, and you can come in your pajamas.
My writing vlog, “Tips for Starting a New Project,” will go live on Tuesday at 3:00p.m. EDT. The ten-minute video will discuss gathering and organizing ideas when it comes to beginning a brand new writing project. I’ll be hanging around the post to respond to comments and answer questions.
Additionally, my own foreign rights agent, the amazing Cheryl Pientka, will be a part of the live panel of professionals on Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. EDT. She’s brilliant and you should all definitely join in!
Hope to see you there!
